As the Winner of the Volunteering Award by the United Nations and MBC AL AMAL, Lamia BAZIR was invited to share her story and message of humility and hope with hundreds of Moroccan youth in Casablanca.
Acting as ambassador for the message of positivity and hope among Moroccan and Arab Youth, Lamia talked about her academic choices and trajectory (Al Akahwayn, Sciences po, Columbia, and Harvard) to insist on the importance of education for discovering and sharpening one’s potentialities.
She also mentioned key takeaways from her professional experience at the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, Transparency International, th Arab League, or the Morocco government, which was a source of determination and ambition for the audience.
Finally, she shared her lessons in life and the values she drew from the human encounters she made in the Middle Atlas mountains and in Niger, which were the most inspirign and touching moments !
