On September 2018, Lamia Bazir was appointed as the new Executive Director of the National Observatory for the Rights of the Child (ONDE) by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem of Morocco.
The National Observatory for the Rights of the Child is a National Independent Institution in charge of monitoring the implementation of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Morocco and of federating and coordinating national policies and demonstrative projects in favor of children.
The National Observatory for the Rights of the Child was created by Royal Decision in 1995 and is effectively presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem.
Lamia Bazir was the youngest to be appointed in that position with the mission of making progress and redynamizing this institution.
