Lamia Bazir was invited by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC to participate in the Annual Meetings 2023 and to contribute as a prominent figure from the civil society and an advocate for women and youth empowerment.
Lamia Bazir had the great honor and pleasure to meet with the President of the World Bank Group Ajay Banga, with whom she exchanged on issues related to education and girls’ empowerment. Bazir also expressed her pride to see her country the Kingdom of Morocco successfully host such an important global event.
