On Saturday September 19th, 2015 Lamia Bazir was invited to speak at the Leadership Annual Conference organized by the Leadership Development Institute at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco.
Her academic, social, and professional experience is a source of inspiration for many young Moroccan women and men who gathered to listen to her talk and interchange ideas with her on the theme of “Women in Leadership”. Lamia gave her personal definition of leadership and an analysis of both the structural and agency related challenges faced by women in their attempt to lead. Then, she talked about her own experience even if she is still at the beginning of her career, in order to share and exchange learnings with the audience.
